An accomplished, confident leader with many years of pharmaceutical experience involving retail, hospital, home health, specialty and long-term care in the state of Florida. After finishing my private elementary and high school education, I enrolled and graduated from the University of Florida. My original plan was to be an industrial chemist, but the lab was a rather solitary place. My father, also a pharmacist, convinced me that parlaying the chemistry major into a pharmacy degree would be more socially interactive and equally gratifying. He was right. Today, health care is an ever changing discipline. Change is an opportunity best met with motivation not resistance.
Outside of the profession, I am married and mentored three sons. They also have established careers in the health care industry. Since my profession resides inside buildings, the vast majority of my free time is spent outdoors. I marvel and compete with mother nature. My favorite activities are climbing, hiking and cycling. I chill out watching Classic Films and try to avoid the relentless mainstream media commercials. When it's time to self educate, I just Google it! A balanced routine would be work, exercise, fun and peace. I consider myself fortunate to have a soul mate of the same spiritual wavelength. She is the moon to my sun.
